A letter to your family
If someone you love is thinking of joining SawasdeeLife, you might feel excited for them — and a little worried. That's natural. Here are honest answers to the questions families ask most.
Will they really be looked after?
Yes — a ready-made group, a team on the ground, a support line, and a daily welfare check.
What if they get sick?
Modern hospitals nearby, compulsory insurance covering evacuation and repatriation, and our team there in person in an emergency — and we call you.
What if they don't like it?
Nothing ties them down — short-term accommodation, easy flights home, and our help to arrange it.
Is it legitimate?
A registered Thai company, licensed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, staged payments (never a big lump sum), and a written agreement before anyone pays. Call us and ask anything.
Will it affect their pension?
The program is rental-based — nothing is bought or locked in. Everyone's situation differs, so we always recommend a check with Centrelink and a financial adviser. We inform; we never advise.
How can we stay close?
You're their emergency contact, video calls are easy, and families are always welcome to visit.
The hardest part of watching someone we love grow older is fearing their world gets smaller. This is the opposite — friends, warmth, purpose and adventure, with a team making sure they're safe while they have it.
